You have to fill out a very lengthy application on whether he will accept you as a patient. After waiting for a week or so you are then informed he will he will not accept you and are given no explanation as to why he will not. I even have great insurance. Being diagnosed with bipolar and another psychiatrist works in conjunction with him referred Dr. Songer to dispense the medication part, he still will not accept you as a patient. His site lists the all the different diagnosis he treats. Very unprofessional that he will picks and choose who he treats. Very uncaring and with mental illness being so real, this is so sad that a person that enters this field of medicine denies treatment that a person really needs. I am counting this as a blessing in disguise because truthfully I wouldn't want to be treated by such an uncaring person. And reading reviews on other sites, I am not the only person this has happened to.
