In 2021 Dr. Schumacher misdiagnosed me with complex migraine despite administering stroke protocol in the ER. More disturbing than his misdiagnosis was the treatment I received in the days that followed. He entered my ICU room several times at night, only when I was alone, calling me difficult and dramatic trying to convince me that it was in fact a migraine. I knew that he was wrong. He said that he was the doctor, who did I think I was to question him. He said he knew when I came into the ER that I was going to be a problem. I am thankful for the doctor who found the clot in my artery on the vary scans Schumacher took. I am thankful he is no longer at my local ER. Find another neurologist, I would not trust this man.
