I had reconstructive surgery on 2009. I was younger and I wish I knew how to leave reviews. But now that I am much older lets get right to it. Dr. June Wu treated or intend to treat my HS. Before my surgery I told her to make sure she takes out all the lesions even the ones that are not flared (why because once they flare up they create tunnels ) and the whole surgery will go to waste. So she went ahead and said that she will be only removing the ones she sees. Completely disregard my wants. Surgery under both breast. Took me about 4 months for it to fully close. It kept getting infected , why, because she left that ONE that she said she didnt need to remove. Although HS has no cure- i have had surgery in other areas of my body where HS lived and i no longer get flare ups there-why because the surgeon made sure to remove the whole area!!! But of-course my breast I am dreading this process again. Also she is kinda rude too.
