I have been seeing Dr. Castillo for a year and a half. Recently, before a pap and biopsy she advised that if results were abnormal, she would like to refer me out to a specialist. She told me to call for the results in two weeks. When I called about my results, the office staff advised me that the day the doctor told me to call was a day she was out. they then let me know that the doctor was not returning my calls because she was unsure what to recommend! Office staff briefly reviewed my results over the phone....typically, doctors call you in to discuss more serious results....this left me feeling stressed with little answers. I went to the office the following day to obtain all of my medical records. Office staff called her, because she was not there (that's two days) she asked that I come in the following day for a PROCEDURE! Without EVER reviewing my results with me. Every day that week I called to speak with her about my results. It is 8 days later and she NEVER returned my calls.
