My father went to see the doctor expecting to get a simple trigger point injection. Full disclosure, I am an orthopedic surgeon for over 20 years. Trigger point injections are simple injections in the fat or muscle. He fed my dad some BS about needing an ultrasound. NOT NEEDED.My dad is 88 years old and only drives locally; He waited 5 days to see the doctor who was the least helpful. He referred my dad to an associate in another office. My parents called me upset that the doctor was not interested in his care. The least he could have done was ask his associate to see my dad ASAP..NOT THIS DOCTOR. My parents called the new doctor, only to be told they have to wait 8 days! I called Dr. Motisi's office and he did not even have the courtesy to call me, an orthopedic colleague. I spoke to his staff asked for Dr. Motisi to do a simple injection or at the very least AND I MEAN THE VERY LEAST call to get my father an appointment ASAP. But he would not. NOT WORTH SEEING.
