Dr. Turner and his staff are excellent, billing process is a headache, I did a very simple teeth extraction. Biller Jennifer up-coded first time and insurance refuse to pay. I spent hours to search all Dental related diagnosis codes and then found the difference between my teeth extraction and what Jennier filed I called her to explain the difference between teeth extraction and issue impact. she said those are same! then we reviewed doctor's note on Mount Sinai My Chart line by line, finally she realized the difference.She re-filed the claim to insurance company. Insurance company re-processed it and covered most of the fee. But Jennifer still mailed me the old bill statement without updated info from insurance company, I tried to call her and go to voice message.I just don't want anyone will have similar experience due to biller's careless and make patient pay more! ($$$)
