Dr. Abu Hweij treated our son for 2 weeks in the hospital after an emergency admission and then for a little while after his release. She started out great. Lots of communication and follow through. and excellent after care. After she learned he was relocating, there was supposed to be at least one last phone or MyChart message to go over some test results prior to his move and update any self care instructions. He called, e-mailed via MyChart, went to the office in person-asking for a final communication. Crickets. So very disappointed in the lack of follow-through and aftercare to insure that he had all the proper instructions he needed prior to his move. I understand that doctors are busy, but there were several days after his latest tests to discuss them and it's hard to accept that Dr. Abu Hweij didn't have 5 minutes to spare.
