I have had horrible afib for over 3 years and I had seen 2 different doctors before I saw Dr. Gowda. My entire family sees her so they referred me to her. When i saw her she may be feel reassured, confident, and able to proceed with the treatment plan that she outlined. The other doctors recommended an ablation but it felt like it was not appropriate and I was not confident. But once I saw Dr. Gowda I felt more confident to proceed and eventually got an A-fib ablation done. Now after the A-fib ablation and even off the flecainide medication and have not had any atrial fibrillation that I feel and I actually feel like she has cured me by 100%. I know that she tells me that the A-fib can come back at any point of time but I feel like a different person I have not had the same symptoms I had before and I am so happy. If the monitor is negative she is also going to take me off the blood thinner and regardless I am extremely happy and confident and thankful.
