Aimee Alviar, NP

I saw Aimee for severe hormonal issue concerns and she didn’t seem to understand how many of my labs were out of optimal range and dismissed my concerns for specific lab work. I also highly suspected I was in perimenopause and asked if this was a possibility. She immediately stated no, and that my hormone issues were likely some “fluke” thing that we didn’t know the cause of. She was I would know if I am in perimenopause if I start to have highly irregular cycles. I clearly explained that I have had highly irregular cycles for 8 months and she refused to acknowledge this. I gave up and saw my PCP who looked at my symptoms and immediately said it’s obvious I am in perimenopause and started me on some BHRT which helped immensely. I’ve had to do additional labwork and supplementation on my own since seeing Aimee achieved nothing for me. Very disappointing, I was expecting more of a functional practitioner and given that I paid nearly $1000 for my 2 visits to her and some labwork.
