Amanda is a very nice and personable caregiver. She was very attentive to my questions and concerns during previous visits. However, after having Covid recently and having a lingering (and very annoying) cough, I called the office for recommendations since I could not be seen for at least 3 weeks. After 3 phone calls to the office, I received a crude message through the portal that someone was to call me and let me know I needed to be seen by a provider or I could go to the ER or Urgent Care. Obviously I have no issues seeing a provider, but it’s still a month out and I’ve gone through several bottles of an otc cough syrup. Am I to believe there is nothing else I might try to help with the cough before I’m able to be seen??Is it not prudent I call first to make sure there are no contraindications with my current meds and health issues? I truly felt like I was blown off. Did this come from Amanda? I’m not sure; no one has returned my calls yet.
