The entire process through Lovelace Labor Of Love was simply amazing, but there was one person in particular who made this whole journey extra special, life changing, and a true answer to our prayer....Amy Macleod. When my wife and I confirmed the amazing news that we were pregnant, I began I started to look at all the midwives we could see throughout the pregnancy. I read the bio/descriptions of each midwife to my wife without her seeing any pictures of each one. We narrowed it down to a few and ultimately chose Amy Macleod. Little did we know that we picked the BEST one!! From day one Amy has shown us that what she does is MUCH more than a job. She cares, she sacrifices, she shares her wealth of knowledge, she challenges us in healthy ways. Never did we feel cut short on time and attention with her. As the months passed, it was our hope that my wife would go into labor on a Wednesday, knowing that Amy works the 24 hour shift that day. The chances were slim and sure enough, my wife went into labor on a Tuesday morning. When we arrived at the hospital we were told that Amy was working the rare 12 hour shift followed by a 24 shift! A true answer to our prayers! We knew we were in good hands with Amy and those good hands delivered our baby that day. Thank you all for what you do there at Lovelace and THANK YOU AMY for being the most beautiful answer to our prayers. This is a forever joy in our hearts.
