Dr. Dean exceeded my expectations in several ways in terms of the quality of his psychological testing techniques, attention to detail, and professional and empathetic demeanor. To give context, I have seen multiple mental health care workers (psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and nurses) in different settings over the years, and there have been some recent changes to my mental health and cognition, and some confusion and concerns over ongoing issues that I've had since childhood. I am now 33 and in a graduate program and was referred to seek psychoeducational testing through my psychiatrist after several sessions. Dr. Dean's assessment provided me even more valuable information than previous evaluations, and this has changed my outlook on my personal abilities, self-acceptance, and career trajectory in a positive way. He also provided resources and recommendations on how to improve my cognitive health and functioning that I had no idea would be accessible for me, and had not heard of before.
