I'm sure Barbara's style works for some families, but her approach to working with our child was quite surprising. It's as if she had no filter for knowing how to speak with children to get them comfortable. It was very odd and made my child feel like they were othered. She also provided an assessment and diagnosis without ever speaking to my child - including a recommendation to see a psychiatrist.
