Saw this guy (he calls himself “Dr.” Because he has a PhD in something—he is only a PA!) in the ED, so I did not choose him. He walked in having not read my chart, loudly asked me to tell him my “problem”, then cut me off mid-sentence to misdiagnose me before even examining me. Now, I already knew my diagnosis, but he insisted on his INCORRECT one, prescribed me inappropriate meds, and left the room! I received a call a few days later from a different PA saying basically whoops your lab work doesn’t show any sign of his diagnosis. I never got any treatment plan for my actual problem, though he later added it to my patient chart. Basically this guy has a terrible patient affect combined with extremely limited medical knowledge. The ED is expensive and people who go there should reasonably expect to get some kind of help.
