The first time I saw Dr. To (2021) I thought she was abrupt.This time, I tried to understand her. I found that she knew what she was doing, and because I listened rather than interrupt and dismiss her, I found her suggestions made sense.People may think she is distant, but I really think it may be cultural bias. When I tried to see beyond the facade, I saw a concerned and knowledgeable provider who tries to meet the need of her patient. Yes, I’d bring my husband or friend to her.
