Christopher Broome, FNP

Christopher Broome, FNP, is employed at Piedmont Comprehensive Pain Management. I've been seen at that practice for over a decade. The care I have received from the practice has declined due to the lack of active listening, empathy, medical knowledge, and poor patient-healthcare provider relations with the NP employed. Due to the complexity of my case, I feel that this individual lacks knowledge which impedes his ability to provide proper pain management. Over my last few appointments, he would interrupt me whenever I wanted to interject and explain my condition or even educate him. Pain Management is a specialty and when the healthcare provider is not willing to learn or listen- communication falls to the wayside and can harm the patient in the end. Chronic pain is multifaceted, without understanding the individual as a whole and the underlying medical condition causing the pain- one cannot provide a proper plan of care.
