She coddled my father and justified all of his negative actions while completely dismissing my mother (who was the one actively seeking her services and my father had just come along). She made my father feel better about himself and my mother feel worse. Essentially, she paid her attention solely on my father and gave him all of her sympathy while brushing off my mothers issues (which had been caused by my fathers negative actions). I cannot believe she is licensed. I mean this sincerely but it disgusts me that the threw my mother deeper into her depression by siding with the abuser. I am actually livid thinking about it. I do not believe she is qualified to deal with many marriage issues as she seemed to make my parents problems worse. And I witnessed this all.
