I was a patient for several months for chronic pain management. After an office error (called with an appointment time & date) then left a voicemail to confirm the same appointment. I showed up for the appointment and they said I did not have one. Pain meds are given out so that the day of your appointment you are completely out. I asked if since I drive so far to get there if they would see me and the lady told me to wait. She then said no he will not see you and I asked about a prescription to get me through until my appointment (which they said I did not have one at all but they said they could schedule it). I sat down for a minute and was crying and the woman across from me asked me what was wrong so I told her. A couple minutes later Dan came out and very unpleasantly told me I needed to stop yelling and that I needed to leave he then dropped me leaving me in an opioid crisis that sent me to the ER!
