Unfortunately I do not think Mr. Terrell is a good provider and would not recommend him at all. There were red flags even in our very first visit. The entire time he did the majority of the talking telling me about what I had meanwhile I had barely spoken about myself. He also was completely unaware of the existence of one of the medications that I take. Even after that, I still gave him a second chance. The duration of our second visit was about 15 minutes. I told him how I was doing in the beginning, (not good) but he didn’t listen and said it sounded like I was doing pretty good. He then moved on to ask if I had any questions. I had two things, one about an issue I’ve been having for years with extreme fatigue and sleepiness. He told me that it was just a symptom of depression and that the antidepressant I was taking should help. I’ve been on this antidepressant for 5 years or more and obviously what he said is not the case otherwise I wouldn’t have asked. What was the last straw for me was when I told him my second concern. After being on a particular antipsychotic, it had caused me to gain some weight and I was uncomfortable with that. I had since stopped taking it but the weight just wasn’t coming off. He told me I needed to take appetite suppressants. I told him over eating wasn’t an issue for me. I actually have anorexia. And I am very particular about eating a healthy diet. He then proceeded to tell me I needed to get gastric bypass surgery. At that point I was done with him. He clearly was not listening to me.
