Patient Reviews
Nov 11, 2024
I failed a stress test at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in August 2014 and next day the cath scan showed me 80 to 100% blocked (widow marker totally blocked) in the main arteries but I had no heart attack because of collateral blood flow. I was exposed to agent Orange at Fort Gordon but at that time we did not know it. I had to have a 5-way Heart bypass and Dr Winston was awesome. He did such an amazing job I was walking hours later and I recovered very quickly because of his surgery. I have had a productive life with no extreme heart issues. I recently suffered an ischemic stroke but I am recovering. I have always had good health practices but it seems I will alway struggle with ischemic conditions throughout my body because of my exposure to agent orange. Nevertheless I am always thankful to Dr. Winston and the staff at Northeast Georgia Medical center. I give the medical care I received very high marks and I am sorry I didn't write this review earlier.
