I have gastroparesis. Nothing would help me digest food. Dr Stocker put a temporary stimulator in to see if it would solve the problem. It is what I learned before the procedure that most impressed me. She came over to the operating table to talk to me. It made me feel as if I were in the best hands possible. I felt valued.We also talked about a young girl who was there. The young lady had never been able to go out on a date, stay over with friends or do any of the normal things most take for granted. Gastroparesis is horrid.Dr Stocker had empathy toward the patient. She knew the importance of finding and fixing the problem. Dr Stocker does not give up. She is professional, kind and caring. She has a carefully trained staff who she expects the same from.Months have passed since I wore that temporary stimulator. I have a permanent one. I am digesting again.Dr Stocker has been there for the entire journey.
