I have very advanced emphysema and went to see Dr. Bostick mostly because I needed refills on medication. He was looking at my records and told me how bad it was and then said “and you’re too old for a transplant”. Left me sitting in the office and walked out. He showed no empathy at all and I could really have used it. Cried all the way home and never went back.
