My husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. This appointment was to assess the severity of the disease. After driving for 2 hours, finding a parking space, finding the elevator, crossing over to the side where the office is, finding another elevator and finally arriving at the office, we were turned away because we were approximately 20 minutes late. No ifs, ands or buts! My husband and I are both disabled and walking us a slow and painful process. He had a meltdown last night after arriving back home because of the aggravation of the whole day. I called the PCP who referred us and specifically said we DO NOT wish to be rescheduled or have ANY contact with this doctor ever again.
