My husband had recurrent cancer (stage 4 colon) in his pelvis. We were seen by multiple surgeons, oncologists and radiologists who were unable to operate due to the location and complexity of the recurrent tumor. We were referred to Dr. Aimal Khan. Dr. Kahn was able to see us in December and during the exam explained the additional tests that would need to be done as well as the multiple surgery specialties that would need to be involved. The information was overwhelming however it was the only hope we had. We put our trust in Dr. Kahn and have no regrets. He was honest with us but still offered hope, he coordinated urology, orthopedic, plastics, IORT (intraoperative radiation) and GI surgeons to perform a pelvic extent. The team was amazing and kept me informed every step of the way. We are home now and my husband is doing well. We are forever grateful to Dr. Kahn and his team. If you have been told you have recurrent cancer in your pelvis run don't walk to Dr. Aimal Khan.
