In 2021 Dr Donath did a face/neck lift, blephoplasty, supposed fat transfer to under eye hollows. I specifically said “I love my cheeks please don’t do anything with them”. He didn’t listen & removed both buccal fat pads in my cheeks, leaving me looking like my cheeks were sunken in as if I was dying..NO exaggeration! Took now 2 fat transfer surgeries from a prominent plastic surgeon in CA & an exorbitant amount of $$$’s to look half normal. Still have more surgeries to correct it & to release muscles on both sides of my face that also created a “buckle” from face lift. Also, the stitches from my upper blephoplasty were taken out too soon by his assistant (not a nurse or himself). My eyelid split open & he left his scrub nurse sewed it back .. when I requested him to do it, he was on an important phone call & wouldn’t do it. I now have to get a revision to correct the scarring from the nurse sewing my eyelid back. He CONTROLS his Google reviews! His office sends you a self addressed, stamped envelope to write your Google review & his office controls whether it goes to Google or not. Why the HIGH ratings! No less than a 4-5 star review is posted from their office! Unbelievable..as I am in the medical profession & this is extremely unprofessional. He offered to do a fat transfer & apologized for removing my buccal pads in my cheeks..great, but after all of that I would NEVER let him touch me or anyone I care about..EVER. Hope this honest review is allowed to be posted!
