First, during the 2 hours I was getting prepped for surgery, I could hear all the people who were working there and the talk was like being in the happiest place on earth! People were so friendly, excited to see each other, greeting other patience with so much kindness...it was comforting hearing the joy in this workplace. All those who were apart of my team were gentle and took time to answer any questions while they told me everything they would be doing and why. When I was wheeled into the surgical room, everyone said hello to me. I woke up hours later with others caring for me. It was an amazing first surgery experience!My hip recovered so quickly with no pain. I was off opioid in 3 1/2 days and just took an anti swelling med, a blood thinner and a pain reliever for potential pain that never came so I was off that within 6 days. Dr Sah and his team were amazing!
