Patient Reviews
Jul 17, 2019
I had a collapsed lung that was resistant to "normal" treatment procedures. A collapsed lung can normally be "fixed" with about a weeks stay in the hospital. Mine took 6 weeks. I'm very pleased with the result and the high level of care I received.Dr. Faravar and his excellent team appropriately took a "physician do no harm" stair step approach to fixing it. Throughout the entire frustrating ordeal, Dr. Faravar was a gem. He was very open, forthright and patient in addressing our multitude of questions. He expressed and exuded confidence we'd get a positive result but did not sugar coat the uncertainties inherent in dealing with a recalcitrant collapsed lung. His warm empathetic style communicates that you and he are going through this experience hand in hand, together. My best friend, also a Thoracic Surgeon, lives in another state and with Dr. F's complete approval, monitored my care . Afterward he said, "Dr Faravar and his team are first rate. You absolutely got top quality care!"
