On 7/11 an appt was scheduled at 1:30 for my friend. He drove an hour to get to my home. I called the office after 11 to see where we needed to go when we got to the hosp. She gave me the info. We left the house at 12:45 arriving at the hospital for the visit by 1:00. We used the valet as walking far for him is difficult. When we went to check in, the receptionist told us he had no appts that day, all were cancelled. That didn't sound right to me. I called the office and got their vm and left a message. I went to another receptionist and she told me they were told at 12:45 that he had an emergency and all patients were cancelled. I could understand if he was running late due to this, but to just be like go home and they will reschedule did not sit well with me. I was very angry and was not going to pay $10. for valet on top of this. Patient relations was wonderful. I saw a missed call/vm. Called back and she wanted to reschedule for Fri. Why? Told her no. Total disregard for patients.
