I went to Village Medical Center on 4/3/2024, and Dr. Kidane's lack of patient bedside manners left much to be desired. I made an appointment because of severe back pain. When I arrived at the office, the nurse came in, took my blood pressure and temperature, and asked me what I was coming in for. I told her it was for severe back pain and pain in my pelvic area. The nurse left, and Alisha Kidane came in. She started to talk to me about my past issues, and I tried to tell her about the amount of pain that I was in. At this point, she cut me off and told me that I could leave if I wanted to. I immediately got up to leave and went downstairs to see the office manager. She was not available, so another lady stood in on her behalf. She told me that this was her last week and asked me if I wanted to see another doctor. I was so distraught about what had just transpired that I told her that I was going to the emergency room because my pain was unbearable. When I arrived at Sugarland Methodist, my BP was 200/194. I cannot, in all honesty, pay for a service that I never received. I have been a patient at Village Family Practice for at least 20 years, and sadly, I will not be returning because of this incident.

She rushes to attend to patient. Rather than taking a look to what the patient problem is and listens she prefers to send a referral. I complained about having pain on my leg to her and the next thing is I would refer you to a Physical therapist or you can book another appointment for that, without even taking a look at it. She did the same thing at my first visit with her. I would no longer use her as my primary care physician.
