We went to Allegro Pediatric for a last minute doctor's appointment for our 1 year old child, but our child's usual pediatrician was not available. We got assigned to Dr. Lowen. It was by far the worst experience we have had at Allegro Pediatric after years of visiting this pediatric clinic with our children. She was dismissive of our concerns, did not have any patience to listen to what we said, did not care about the well-being of our child, and kept on saying she would need to refer us to someone else (a specialist) because she did not want to be responsible for the specific issue our child has. She did not care about the fact that the specialists on her list have a 3-4 month waitlist for new patients and our child would just continue to suffer while waiting to be seen. She ended up prescribing medications for our 1 year old, despite the fact that we said multiple times the medications would not work for our child. Meeting with Dr. Lowen was a waste of our time, energy, and money.
