WARNING: If you have endometriosis or suspected endometriosis you would be better off finding a specialist who has the experience and skills required to best treat the condition- ESPECIALLY if you suspect it could be severe! Dr. Amanda Alleyn, and nurse Taylor Breaux, are very confident in their abilities to treat endometriosis but lack the necessary knowledge and skills to treat it. This may partially be due to the fact that most gynecologists do not receive the proper training or education on this condition. However, Dr Alleyn should be more transparent about these limitations before operating on patients! They also don’t have the greatest bedside manner because, in my case, they both appeared to be in a hurry and did not take the time to listen fully or answer all of my questions in a most caring manner. I did not feel like there was any compassion during our interactions. I was also very disappointed when they strongly pushed a drug that studies have shown can help with pain but also can cause severe bone loss and does absolutely nothing to slow the growth.
