If I could give this doctor a huge ZERO, I would! Saw him in St. Joe's ER in Reading, PA for a POTS exacerbation...or so I thought. All he was concerned about was my chest pain, not any of my other VERY significant symptoms. He ordered a chest x-ray, blood work, & did a very quick bedside ultrasound of my heart. Imagine my fear when I looked on the patient portal & found that my Potassium level was critically low, as well as A LOT of other abnormal lab work! This pathetic excuse for a doctor NEVER told me about the abnormal blood work, including the critically low potassium. He came into my room and said that all my blood work looked great and he was sending me home! Also, when I explained my symptoms to him, I said that my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest, to which he responded 'Your heart can't actually burst l, you know, unless it's a gunshot or stabbing, but that's not your case.' I think the morgue is a more appropriate workplace setting for this doctor!
