Dr. George is AMAZING! I just had my first appointment with her last week and I couldn't be more pleased with how things went. She was going through the past results in my chart and explaining them to me, she showed me videos from the ultrasound of my very large thyroid nodule and explained to me what she believes is happening. She has run more tests to check for Graves disease and ordered an uptake scan for me so we can see where the problem is. I have anxiety listed in my chart and not ONCE did she make me feel like anxiety is causing my symptoms. I have had past providers that blew off my symptoms as symptoms of anxiety and that feels defeating because I KNOW that is not the case. Dr. George made me feel seen and heard! I finally feel like I will be getting the help that I've needed for the past 6 years. She makes me feel hopeful that one day I will feel like myself again. I have already recommended her to friends of mine that also have thyroid problems. Thank you Dr. George!
