Patient Reviews
Jan 10, 2026
We had a very concerning experience with Dr. Amy Pittman in the ER at the Heart Hospital in Bryant, AR. My wife returned to the ER the same day with severely elevated blood pressure (up to 194/119) and a persistent, severe headache. Dr. Pittman was dismissive of the blood pressure readings and stated that the ER was “not concerned about the numbers” because a stroke assessment earlier that day was negative. She also informed us that the blood pressure numbers were not an indication that there was any reason to come back to the ER.Her headache was never addressed, and she told us that a blood pressure reading of 157/92 was “normal,” which it is actually Stage 1 Hypertension. Her bedside manner was extremely uncomfortable—long periods of silence and blank stares, little explanation, and a generally dismissive attitude. We left feeling unheard and uneasy about the care provided.
