I would never recommend anyone to see this doctor. I made an appt with this doctor based on recommendation from a very friendly nurse on staff when I confirmed I was pregnant. In my appt with Dr. Dysart, she made me feel comfortable at first, but I noticed she talked very fast and didn't seem to be super attentive to my questions, as in I couldn't even finish my question before she cut me off to start answering it. I brushed it off thinking it was just part of her personality. However, then at the end of the appt she asked if I had received the flu shot. I told her no, and she tried persuading me to get it with my labs right after my appt. She then asked me if I had received the COVID vaccine, and I told her no again. She verbatim said "okay, you're getting that today." I looked at her in disbelief and politely listened to her as she told me why I needed to get the COVID vaccine, and provided her personal opinion rather than providing risks vs benefits and informed consent. She basically just told me that I needed to get it because if I get COVID and I can't breathe, then baby can't breathe. Never mind the fact that I was a perfectly healthy female with an excellent immune system and no risk factors for sickness or other problems during pregnancy. I asked her if I "had" to get the COVID shot, since that is what she insinuated, and she said no, so I told her I would definitely not be getting it that day, as that is a decision I would have to give more thought. My husband was furious with the way she talked to us during the appt and he said it took everything in him to not say something to her while we were at the appt.
