I just recovered from my very first surgical procedure. I am a seventy-year-old active male. Dr. Pakula repaired a Hernia, that I had lived with since it first occurred, when I was nineteen. Recovery from the procedure was mostly pain free, I took no meds! I was able to resume normal activities (except she told me to take it easy for 2 weeks) the day following the procedure. Like I said I have no prior experience, for which I can compare, but I cannot imagine there is anyone more skilled or better suited to take care of this kind of issue. I am very grateful to her for the care and skill that she provided.
