Taken to ER by paramedics after very low blood pressure and erratic heart EKG measured after tennis play. Very close to passing out, could not stand. EMS very concerned by EKG. Dr. Urumov got report from paramedics and proceed to ask good situational questions. I felt reassured by his manner and thoughtful questions. And humor. I happened to mention feeling a pain behind by right knee followed by significant pain in my right calf that caused me to stop playing. The low blood pressure and EKG issues followed. Focus of the EMTs was on heart and blood pressure, and possible dehydration. Dr Urumov ordered Xray and ultrasound for right knee and leg. As it turned out a Bakers cyst had ruptured behind my right knee (with little pain) and proceeded to cause significant pain in my calf which led to vasovagal syncope explaining my blood pressure drop and erratic heart EKG. I was impressed that he made that connection. Dr Urumov is exactly the doctor you want to see in the ER.
