I saw Dr. Simpson for an L5-S1 disc herniation and had an excellent experience. He took the time to review my previous MRI as well as a more recent one which he ordered to compare and explained the changes very clearly. Instead of pushing for surgery, he discussed why surgical intervention wasn’t necessary for my case and how the nerve would heal on its own. He also explained what to expect in terms of recovery, including the timeline for improvement in weakness.What stood out the most was how detailed, thoughtful, and compassionate he was. He gave me all the time I needed, answered every question, and treated me with genuine care. I left the appointment feeling informed, reassured, and confident about my recovery plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Simpson to anyone dealing with disc herniation or spine issues. His Harvard and Yale background is evident in his approach n speaks for itself .
