I never leave poor reviews. But if this helps someone else in a similar situation, then it’s worth it. I’m in the first trimester of pregnancy and have been in to two different ER’s and no one could figure out what was going on. Dr. Waters was the first cardiologist I could get into and so I went. I explained to him that I haven’t been able to do anything, could barely stand on my own, can’t drive, can’t work, etc. I couldn’t keep doing this for very long. He then proceeded to tell me my symptoms were very vague, and that he’d have me wear a heart monitor for two weeks and he’d see me back in 5 weeks. Did he not hear me say how poor my quality of life was? There was no way I could do this for 5 more weeks. The next day I had another appointment with a pulmonologist at St Luke’s hospital. This pulmonologist found out exactly what was going on with me — POTS triggered by pregnancy. It’s not even the pulmonologist specialty and he still listened and new what it was.
