Dr. Anish Desai from Uptown Psych is a horrible psychiatrist. On the day I was scheduled to meet with him, Dr. Desai's office called me and stated that he could not see. I then asked why Dr. Desai could not see me and his secretary replied "because the medication you have been prescribed by another doctor from Uptown Psych is above the dose limit all other doctor's at Uptown Psych typically prescribe for that medicine." I then asked, "what is the dose that Uptown Psych doctor's usually prescribe for my medicine." They then replied - "We don't know." The secretary at Uptown Psych said "We are sorry but you cannot work with Uptown Psych any longer." They then hung up the phone. No referrals for another doctor were given to me by Uptown Psych either. Dr. Aninsh Desai is a low quality doctor. Don't waste your time trying to work with him. He is not worth it!
