After completing my extensive medical history on their questionnaire, I was still subjected to more of the same questions by the Nurse Practioner. She seemed skeptical when I told her my current symptoms.When Dr. Anita Kumar finally appeared, after I waited two and a half hours, she proceeded to recite my medical history. She never examined me nor asked how I was feeling, presumably her NP's job. Then she stated that she couldn't treat me, as she needed the physical disk from my current PET scan. I was never told to bring the disk or that they couldn't retrieve it electronically. I asked if she could at least do my bloodwork. With an abnormal PET scan and abnormal bloodwork, she still wouldn't treat me.I had all my medical records sent electronically, as per their request.I am not sure how she justifies treating a suffering cancer patient this way.
