I was administered a number of medications to try and regulate my heart rythum, all of which failed to bring me back into rhythm. I was very scared Dr. Karnak never came up to meet me for a brief consult before the scheduled 1:30 pm surgery, which I found odd. The alblation procedure was not performed, despite it being scheduled twice. Dr. Karnak did not communicated why the surgery was not performed or when it could be rescheduled. The doctor did not communicated with me or to me through the nursing staff. It was as if I did not exist. Having lost all faith in Dr. Karnack’s abilities as physicians, we asked for a second opinion. I had a consultation Thursday morning with Dr. Krauthammer in my hospital room. Dr. Krauthammer completed the ablation procedure that afternoon. I went home Thursday evening. I found Dr. Karnik lacking in compassion for my situation and his communication was pitiful. He is not the physician I would want taking care of anyone with a heart issue
