I don’t usually write reviews, but given the circumstances I feel it’s my obligation as a mother. My daughter is almost 10 years old and we have been using this practice since newborn stage. Never had an issue until our recent visit. Saturday, I took my daughter for her yearly physical, and since then my daughters happy, confident personality has been shattered. Our visit was with Dr. Annmarie. Everything was fine till she mentioned my daughters weight. My daughter is a little chubby but by no means unhealthy. Dr. Annmarie told her she needed to lose weight, and to stop eating carbs. My daughter started to cry her eyes out, I was trying to comfort her, hoping the Doctor would see the pain and hurt but instead she continued to lecture this sobbing child about been overweight. I failed that day as a mother, I didn’t protect my child. Since that visit my beautiful, happy girl, has become obsessed with calories and what she’s eating. Dr.Yu should not be treating young girls.
