I went to Dr. Nordvig twice with memory issues. She took a detailed history.At the second visit made after no improvement of my symtoms, Dr. Nordvig recommended neuropsych testing to determine if I have ADD but never suggested an MRI, something that Medicare would have paid for as a detection method for memory issues. Four months later I blacked out while walking down the street and, after an MRI in the ER, was diagnosed with a meningioma, a benign brain tumor. Since the removal of the meningioma, the memory issues that brought me to Dr. Nordvig have resolved.Dr. Nordvig never provided the test that would have prevented the trauma of blacking out on the street and spending 10 hours in the ER.
