September 6th, 2011 On my first visit with Dr. Silvetti, I explained that give my age, I was adamantly against any procedure that would sterilize me. After several extremely invasive and very painful procedures with very poor pain management on his part (I literally RAN to the bathroom to throw up, I was shaking from the HSG pain), my fertility problem was admittedly beyond his surgical training. He began the next appointment with a brochure for a sterilizing procedure, his attention was focused more on the intern than my obvious disappointment. Meanwhile, the referral I'd nearly begged him to put in for another surgeon remained undone and I had to call his office to remind him. Despite the reminder call, I never did get that referral and I had to start over with another GYN in the practice.
