I have lupus, RA, fibromyalgia, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, bursitis, arthritis in my hips, and gastroparesis. I have meds at home, but sometimes I am in so much pain that they don't work. So, as instructed by the pain doctor, I went to the ER to get meds for inflammation and pain. I have a test on file that shows which medications work and which don't. It also clearly indicates on my file that I have a pain specialist and that my diagnosis has been confirmed. He makes you feel awful and doesn't listen to or review recommended meds. He just says, 'Here is some acetaminophen.' Like, if that worked, I wouldn't be here.
