I have had MS for almost 20 years, and in that time, I have seen 5 neurologists. Dr Svetic is by far the most knowledgeable. Every time I go in, she has something new to tell me. I find that fascinating and encouraging because I keep pretty well informed about MS and it’s treatments. She never rushes a visit, and listens intently to me when I am talking. She remembered a test result in my medical record from over a decade ago, and used that knowledge to solve a problem at that visit - what a tremendous memory! She also treats my migraines very effectively, and has more genuine compassion for me than almost any other doctor I have seen in my long life. I love her casual and comfortable manner, much like a friend invited for coffee and conversation. She is an incredibly brilliant doctor, and she is passionate about her field of medicine. Should she ever decide to move back to Croatia, my twice yearly visits will come with travel plans - she’s that talented!
