A year ago, you told my wife her symptoms were “just anxiety” and completely dismissed her, despite her being a struggling postpartum patient in obvious distress. Since then, she’s had multiple SVT episodes, one nearly required heart medication in route to the ER. At Christ, doctors finally listened, ran real tests, and diagnosed her with severe pectus excavatum affecting her heart and lungs. She now needs surgery! You missed it entirely. No empathy, no curiosity, just a rushed checklist and a brush-off. This kind of care is dangerous. If you’re no longer willing to actually listen and investigate, maybe it’s time to retire.
