I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this orthopedic doctor and his office staff. To start, the doctor arrived over one hour late for my scheduled appointment, with no explanation or apology. That alone showed a lack of respect for my time. More importantly, the office staff was completely disorganized and negligent regarding my surgery scheduling. My operation was scheduled twice, yet the necessary insurance approval was never obtained. In fact, I was scheduled for surgery today, and the surgical coordinator did not fax the authorization request to my insurance company until late the night before the procedure. I called the office multiple times seeking answers and assistance and received no callbacks. This caused unnecessary stress, confusion, and ultimately delayed my medical care. When dealing with surgery, patients rely on their doctor and staff to be organized, responsive, and professional. Unfortunately, this office failed in all of those areas. I would not recommend this practice unless significant improvements are made in communication, scheduling, and basic patient care.
