My sister is in Lexington Medical Center where this doctor is a hospitalist, he repeatedly tried to bully her into being moved into a skilled nursing facility that the State of South Carolina says is "Much below average" (1 star out of 5 by the State's measurements, 26 citations in the past three years). Then he told her that she "had to leave by Friday" (it was Wednesday) and that "It is not going to be a good thing if you are here next week". My sister has some issues with memory which she refers to as "brain fog" so she asked me to help her. This doctor berated her for not making her own decisions and instead letting her only immediate family help her. I absolutely would NOT recommend you use this doctor. He does not seem to respect his patient's wishes, or their family's wishes, or want them to be in a safe environment. I have called the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners to have them start an investigation and they told me he was not in their licensing system. Really?
